Loyalty cards are a simple way to encourage repeat custom and give customers a clear incentive to return. Measuring 85 x 55mm, they use the same compact format as a standard UK business card, making them easy to keep in a wallet, purse or card holder.
Printed on 350gsm white card, loyalty cards can be supplied single or double sided and in portrait or landscape orientation. Upload your own print-ready artwork and create a reward card that matches your branding and the way your loyalty scheme works.
Loyalty cards are commonly used by businesses that want to reward regular customers after a set number of visits or purchases.
Typical uses include coffee shop stamp cards, salon reward cards, restaurant loyalty schemes, beauty treatment rewards, barber visit cards, retail discount cards and repeat-purchase incentives.
The card can be stamped, signed or marked each time the customer visits, with a reward offered once the required number has been reached. This makes the scheme easy for both staff and customers to understand.
A printed loyalty card gives customers a physical reminder to return and provides a straightforward way to track progress towards a reward.
Because the card is small enough to carry easily, customers can keep it alongside their payment cards and bring it back each time they visit. The card also keeps your business name and branding visible between purchases.
For businesses that rely on repeat visits, even a simple reward scheme can provide an additional reason for customers to choose you again.
The layout should make the reward scheme easy to understand at a glance.
Avoid making stamp areas too small. Staff should be able to mark each space easily, and customers should be able to see their progress without having to study the card closely.
Landscape is a popular choice for loyalty cards because the wider format provides plenty of room for a row or grid of stamp spaces alongside your branding.
Portrait layouts can also work well for simpler schemes or designs where the reward spaces are arranged vertically.
The best orientation will depend on how many stamps or marks your scheme requires and how much supporting information needs to appear on the card.
Single-sided printing can work well for simple schemes where the reward spaces, branding and essential details all fit comfortably on one face.
Double-sided printing gives you more freedom to keep the design uncluttered. One side can contain the stamp or reward area, while the reverse can be used for contact details, terms, opening hours or information about the reward.
Loyalty cards are printed on 350gsm white card, giving them a substantial feel while remaining practical for customers to carry.
The white surface provides a clean base for branding, text and reward layouts and works well with a wide range of colours and design styles.
Select your printed sides, orientation and required quantity before uploading your own print-ready artwork.

Loyalty cards have a finished size of 85 x 55mm. When preparing your artwork, the file should include the required bleed beyond the finished edge and keep important text, logos and reward areas safely inside the trim line.
We require 2mm bleed on every edge, giving an overall artwork size of 89 x 59mm. Background colours, photographs and graphics intended to continue to the edge of the finished card should extend fully into this bleed area.
Important content should be kept at least 3mm inside the finished edge. This safe area helps prevent text, logos and reward spaces from appearing too close to the edge after trimming.
Artwork should be created at the correct dimensions, with images and graphics ideally supplied at 300dpi at their final printed size.
Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.
When designing a loyalty card, pay particular attention to the size and spacing of any stamp, signature or mark areas. These should be large enough to use comfortably and separated clearly enough that customers can see how many rewards they have collected.
Avoid placing important reward spaces too close to the edge of the card. Keeping them comfortably within the safe area also helps make the finished design feel less crowded.
Use the loyalty card artwork diagram as a visual reference if you are unsure about the finished dimensions, bleed or safe area. Checking these details before uploading can help prevent cropped content, reward areas sitting too close to the edge or unwanted white borders.
