4 page A5 folded flyers offer a versatile middle ground between compact folded formats and larger brochure-style pieces. They give you four clear pages for promotional or informational content while keeping the finished size practical and easy to handle.
The flyer starts as an A4 sheet measuring 210 x 297mm and is folded once through the centre to create a finished A5 size of 148 x 210mm. This creates a front cover, two inside pages and a back cover.
Upload your own print-ready artwork and choose from gloss, silk and uncoated paper stocks. The finished flyer is supplied in portrait orientation.
The four-page A5 format works well when you need more structure and space than a standard flat flyer, but do not need a larger or more complex folded product.
Common uses include service guides, menus, price lists, event programmes, product information, promotional literature, business introductions and short brochure-style handouts.
The front cover can introduce the main message or offer, while the two inside pages provide room for the core information. The back page can then be used for contact details, opening times, terms, a map or a clear call to action.
This makes the format particularly useful when your content needs to be separated into logical sections rather than presented on one flat sheet.
A5 is one of the most flexible folded flyer sizes because it provides enough space for menus, service information, product details and short brochure-style content without becoming bulky.
The four-page format also gives the design a natural reading order, helping you guide the customer from the cover through the main information and onto the final page.
If you need a more compact folded piece, a 4 Page A6 Folded Flyer may be more suitable. For more detailed content that benefits from a larger finished page, a 4 Page A4 Folded Flyer may be a better choice.
The flat sheet is A4 size and is folded once through the centre. This is commonly known as a half fold or bi-fold.
Once folded, the finished piece measures A5 and opens like a simple booklet. The outside spread contains the front and back covers, while the inside spread contains pages two and three.
This straightforward fold makes the finished flyer easy to use and gives the content a clear beginning, middle and end.
A complete 4 page A5 flyer is printed on both sides of the flat A4 sheet.
One side forms the outside spread, containing the back cover and front cover. The other side forms the inside spread, creating pages two and three.
Designing each spread as a complete layout can help related information sit together naturally and make the finished flyer easier to follow.
Choose from gloss, silk and uncoated stocks depending on the appearance and purpose of your design.
Gloss can suit colourful, image-led promotions, while silk provides a smoother and more understated finish. Uncoated paper offers a more natural surface and can work particularly well for text-led designs, menus and information-heavy layouts.
Select your paper stock and required quantity before uploading your own print-ready artwork.

A 4 page A5 flyer is printed flat as an A4 sheet measuring 210 x 297mm and then folded through the centre to create a finished A5 size of 148 x 210mm.
Artwork should be supplied as two landscape A4 spreads rather than as four separate A5 pages. One spread represents the outside of the flyer and the other represents the inside.
For a fully printed 4 page flyer, supply:
The fold runs vertically through the centre of each A4 spread.
We require 2mm bleed on every outer edge of the artwork. Any photographs, background colours or graphics intended to continue to the trimmed edge should extend fully into this bleed area.
Important text, logos and other essential design elements should remain at least 3mm inside the finished trim edge.
It is also good practice to keep important content away from the fold line. Small text, logos or other key elements placed directly across the fold can become harder to read or may not sit exactly as expected once the flyer has been folded.
Artwork should be supplied at the correct size, with images ideally set at 300dpi at their final printed dimensions.
Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.
When arranging the artwork, pay particular attention to page order. The front and back covers sit together on the outside spread, while pages two and three sit together on the inside spread.
Use the 4 page A5 artwork diagram as a visual guide to the flat size, finished size, fold line, bleed and safe area. Checking the spreads before upload can help prevent incorrect page order, unwanted white edges or important content sitting too close to the trim or fold.
