4 page A6 folded leaflets provide a compact way to organise information across four separate pages while keeping the finished piece easy to handle. They begin as a flat A5 sheet measuring 148 x 210mm and are folded once through the centre to create a finished A6 size of 105 x 148mm.
The four-page layout gives you a front cover, two inside pages and a back cover, making it useful for information that needs more structure than a single flat leaflet can provide. It works particularly well for short menus, service information, price lists, instructions and compact business guides.
Upload your own print-ready artwork and choose from gloss, silk and uncoated paper stocks.
A6 folded leaflets are well suited to information that can be divided into a few clear sections. Common uses include treatment lists, short menus, service guides, price information, event details, care instructions, membership information and compact company introductions.
The front cover can introduce the subject, while the inside pages hold the main information and the back page can be used for contact details, opening times or supporting notes.
The finished A6 size also makes the leaflet convenient to carry, display on counters or hand directly to customers without using the space of a larger folded format.
A6 gives you a useful balance between compact size and available content space. The fold creates four distinct pages, allowing information to be separated more clearly than on a flat leaflet.
This can be particularly helpful when you want the reader to follow the information in a natural order rather than view everything at once.
If your content is very brief, a flat A6 Leaflet may be sufficient. If you need more space for longer menus, larger images or additional sections, a 4 Page A5 Folded Leaflet may be more suitable.
The leaflet starts as a flat A5 sheet measuring 148 x 210mm and is folded once through the centre. This is commonly known as a half fold or bi-fold.
Once folded, the finished leaflet measures A6 and is viewed in portrait format. The outside spread contains the back cover and front cover, while the inside spread contains pages two and three.
A complete 4 page A6 folded leaflet is printed on both sides of the flat A5 sheet.
One side forms the outside spread and the other forms the inside spread. This gives you four clearly defined pages for organising headings, prices, services and supporting information in a logical order.
Choose from gloss, silk and uncoated stocks depending on how the leaflet will be used and the style of your artwork.
Gloss can suit colourful image-led designs, silk provides a smoother and more understated finish, while uncoated paper offers a natural surface that can work well for service information, guides and designs that may need to be written on.

A 4 page A6 folded leaflet is printed flat as an A5 sheet measuring 148 x 210mm and folded through the centre to create a finished A6 size of 105 x 148mm.
For a leaflet printed inside and outside, artwork should be supplied as two landscape A5 spreads rather than as four separate A6 pages. One spread represents the outside of the leaflet and the other represents the inside.
The fold runs vertically through the centre of each landscape spread. Use the artwork diagram alongside as a guide to the flat size, finished size, fold line, bleed and safe area.
For a fully printed 4 page folded leaflet, supply:
Check the page order carefully before uploading so that the correct pages appear together when the leaflet is folded.
We require 2mm bleed around the outer edge of each spread. Background colours, photographs and graphics intended to continue to the trimmed edge should extend fully into this bleed area.
Important text, logos and other essential information should remain at least 3mm inside the finished trim edge.
It is also good practice to keep important wording clear of the centre fold. Text or small design elements positioned directly across the crease can become harder to read once the leaflet has been folded.
Artwork should be created at the correct dimensions, with photographs and other raster images ideally supplied at 300dpi at their final printed size.
Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.
Because the finished A6 pages are compact, check the artwork at approximately its final printed size before uploading. Clear headings, sensible spacing and readable text will usually work better than trying to fit too much information onto each page.
Use the 4 page A6 folded leaflet artwork diagram as a visual reference for the flat A5 size, finished A6 size, fold line, bleed and safe area. Checking both spreads carefully before upload can help prevent incorrect page order, unwanted white edges or important information sitting too close to the trim or fold.
