A4 flyers provide a generous printed area for designs that need more room for information, images or multiple sections of content. Measuring 210 x 297mm, A4 is a familiar paper size and works particularly well when a smaller flyer would make the layout feel crowded or difficult to read.
Upload your own print-ready artwork and choose from a selection of gloss, silk and uncoated paper stocks. A4 flyers can be printed single or double sided and supplied in portrait or landscape orientation, giving you plenty of flexibility for both promotional and information-led designs.
A4 flyers are useful when you need to present a substantial amount of information clearly on a single sheet. Common uses include menus, price lists, service guides, product information, event details, promotional offers, notices, schedules and business information.
The larger format also makes A4 suitable for situations where customers may need to read the flyer from a short distance, such as on counters, noticeboards, reception areas or display stands. It can also work well as a handout when the information needs more space than an A5 or A6 flyer can comfortably provide.
A4 is a good option when clarity and available space are more important than having a particularly compact flyer. The larger page gives you room to use bigger headings, larger photographs and more generous spacing between different sections of information.
This can make complex content easier to organise and easier for customers to scan. A4 is especially useful for layouts containing several products, detailed menus, price tables or multiple service descriptions.
If your design contains less information and needs to be easier to carry or distribute in larger quantities, an A5 flyer may be a more practical choice.
A4 flyers can be printed in portrait or landscape orientation. Portrait is the more familiar A4 format and is well suited to menus, notices, price lists and information arranged in clear sections down the page.
Landscape A4 provides additional horizontal space and can work well for wide photographs, comparison tables, schedules, diagrams or layouts containing several columns. Your uploaded artwork should match the orientation selected when placing your order.
Single-sided A4 flyers are a good choice for posters, notices, menus and information sheets where everything needs to be visible at once.
Double-sided printing gives you considerably more room without increasing the finished sheet size. The reverse can be used for additional products, menu items, prices, terms, maps, contact information or supporting details.
Choose from gloss, silk and uncoated stocks depending on how your flyer will be used and the appearance you want to achieve.
Gloss can work well with photographs, bold colours and image-led promotional designs. Silk offers a smoother, more understated appearance, while uncoated paper provides a natural surface that can suit text-heavy information sheets, forms or designs where a non-glossy finish is preferred.

A4 flyers have a finished size of 210 x 297mm. When preparing artwork for print, your file should include the required bleed outside the finished dimensions and keep important design elements safely away from the trim line.
We require 2mm bleed on every edge, giving an overall artwork size of 214 x 301mm. Any background colour, photograph or graphic intended to continue to the edge of the finished flyer should extend fully into this bleed area.
Important text, logos and other essential content should be positioned at least 3mm inside the finished edge. Keeping these elements within the recommended safe area helps prevent them from appearing too close to the edge after trimming.
Artwork should be created at the correct dimensions, and images should ideally be 300dpi at their final printed size. This is particularly important for A4 because photographs and graphics may be displayed larger than they would be on smaller flyer formats.
Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because these colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.
For information-heavy A4 designs, it is also worth checking that text remains comfortably readable and that the page is not overcrowded. The extra space available on A4 is most effective when it is used to create clear sections, suitable spacing and a strong visual hierarchy.
Use the A4 artwork diagram as a visual reference if you are unsure about the finished dimensions, bleed or safe area. Checking these details before uploading can help prevent unwanted white edges, cropped content or important elements sitting too close to the finished edge.
