A6 flyers can be supplied in either portrait or landscape orientation. Portrait is commonly used for traditional promotional layouts, while landscape can work particularly well for wide images, vouchers, invitations and designs where information reads naturally from left to right.
Neither orientation affects the finished A6 size; it simply changes the direction in which the artwork is viewed. Your artwork should be supplied in the same orientation as the flyers you order.
Choose single-sided printing when everything can be presented clearly on one face of the flyer. Double-sided printing gives you additional space without increasing the finished size and can be useful for separating promotional information from contact details, terms, menus or supporting content.

A6 flyers have a finished size of 105 x 148mm. When preparing artwork for print, the file should also include the required bleed beyond the finished edge and keep important text and design elements safely inside the trim line.
Our A6 flyer artwork requires 2mm bleed on every edge, giving an overall artwork size of 109 x 152mm. Background colours, photographs and other elements intended to run to the edge of the finished flyer should continue fully into this bleed area.
We also recommend keeping important text, logos and other essential content at least 3mm inside the finished edge. This safe area helps prevent important elements appearing too close to the edge after trimming.
For the best printed result, artwork should be supplied at the correct size and at a suitable resolution. Images used at their final printed size should ideally be 300dpi so photographs, logos and detailed graphics remain clear when printed.
Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.
If you are unsure about bleed, safe areas or finished dimensions, use the diagram above as a guide when preparing your file. Taking a little time to check these areas before uploading can help avoid unwanted white edges, cropped text or important elements being positioned too close to the trim.
