6 Page DL Roll Fold Flyer Printing

6 page DL roll fold flyers give you six separate panels for organising menus, prices, services and promotional information while keeping the finished piece slim and easy to handle. They begin as an A4 sheet measuring 297 x 210mm and are roll folded twice to create a finished DL size of approximately 99 x 210mm.

The additional panels provide more room than a 4 page DL flyer without increasing the finished size. This makes the format particularly useful when your content needs to be divided into several clear sections that can be revealed naturally as the flyer is opened.

Upload your own print-ready artwork and choose from gloss, silk and uncoated paper stocks.

What are 6 Page DL Roll Fold Flyers Used For?

The six-page format works particularly well for content that naturally divides into several categories or stages. Common uses include takeaway menus, restaurant menus, treatment lists, service guides, price lists, tourist information, event details and promotional literature.

Individual panels can be used for different services, product groups, menu sections or pieces of information, helping customers find what they need without being presented with one large block of content.

The slim finished DL size also makes these flyers convenient for counters, brochure holders, reception areas and direct distribution.

Why Choose a 6 Page DL Roll Fold Flyer?

A 6 page DL roll fold flyer is a good choice when you need more sections than a simple four-page format can provide but still want the finished piece to remain compact.

The six panels give you greater flexibility when organising information. For example, a menu can separate starters, main courses and drinks, while a service business can dedicate different panels to treatments, prices, contact information and special offers.

If your content is shorter, a 4 Page DL Folded Flyer may provide all the space you need. The 6 page roll fold version is better suited to information that benefits from being divided into additional sections.

How Does a 6 Page DL Roll Fold Flyer Fold?

The flyer starts as a landscape A4 sheet measuring 297 x 210mm. Two vertical folds create three panels, with one panel folding inside the others to form a roll fold.

When fully folded, the finished piece is approximately 99 x 210mm. Printing both sides of the sheet creates six pages or panels, giving you a natural sequence for presenting information as the flyer is opened.

Six-Page Roll Fold Layout

A 6 page DL flyer is printed on both sides of the flat A4 sheet, creating three panels on each side.

The roll fold gives the content a clear sequence as the flyer is opened. This makes it particularly useful for menus, service guides and other information that benefits from being divided into several easy-to-follow sections.

Paper Choices for 6 Page DL Flyers

Choose from gloss, silk and uncoated stocks depending on the style and intended use of your flyer.

Gloss can suit colourful menus and image-led promotions, while silk provides a smoother, more understated finish. Uncoated paper offers a more natural surface and can work particularly well for service guides, price lists and text-led designs.

6 Page DL Roll Fold Flyer Artwork Guide

A 6 page DL roll fold flyer begins as a landscape A4 sheet measuring 297 x 210mm and is folded twice to create six printed panels and a finished DL size of approximately 99 x 210mm.

Artwork should be supplied as two landscape A4 spreads rather than as six separate DL pages. Each spread contains three panels, but because this product uses a roll fold, one panel is slightly narrower so that it can tuck neatly inside when folded.

Use the artwork diagram alongside as the main guide to the flat size, finished size, panel positions, fold lines, bleed and safe area.

Supplying Your 6 Page DL Artwork

For the outside spread, the panel widths should be:

  • 97mm
  • 100mm
  • 100mm

For the inside spread, the panel order is reversed:

  • 100mm
  • 100mm
  • 97mm

The narrower 97mm panel is the panel that folds inside, so artwork should be positioned with the correct panel widths in mind.

Bleed, Safe Area and Fold Lines

We require 2mm bleed around the outer edge of the artwork. Background colours, photographs and graphics intended to continue to the trimmed edge should extend fully into this bleed area.

Important text, logos and other essential design elements should remain at least 3mm inside the finished trim edge.

The two fold lines also need to be considered when positioning content. Avoid placing small text, logos or other important elements directly over a fold, as the crease can affect how they appear and how easily they can be read.

Preparing Print-Ready 6 Page DL Artwork

Artwork should be created at the correct dimensions, with images ideally supplied at 300dpi at their final printed size.

Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.

With six panels available, it can be tempting to add too much information. Clear headings, short sections and a logical panel sequence will usually make the finished flyer easier to follow. Designing specifically for the narrow DL proportions will also produce a better result than simply adapting artwork created for a wider page.

Before Uploading Your File, Check That:

  • The artwork is supplied as two landscape A4 spreads
  • The outside spread uses panel widths of 97mm, 100mm and 100mm
  • The inside spread uses panel widths of 100mm, 100mm and 97mm
  • The narrower 97mm panel is positioned correctly for the roll fold
  • The panel order matches the way the flyer will fold and open
  • 2mm bleed has been included around the outer edges
  • Important content remains within the recommended 3mm safe area
  • Important text and logos are kept clear of both fold lines
  • Images are high enough resolution for print
  • Both spreads have been checked carefully before upload

Need Help Checking Your Artwork?

Use the 6 page DL roll fold artwork diagram as a visual reference for the flat A4 size, finished DL size, panel widths, fold lines, bleed and safe area. Checking both spreads carefully before upload can help prevent incorrect panel order, unwanted white edges or important content being positioned across a fold.
