For short information that customers may want to keep, A6 can be particularly practical. If your design includes a longer menu, detailed price list or several separate sections, an A5 Leaflet may give the content more room to breathe.
A6 leaflets can be printed in portrait or landscape orientation. Portrait is well suited to information arranged in a natural top-to-bottom order, such as service lists, opening hours and promotional messages.
Landscape can work well for wider images, short menus, vouchers or designs where information is arranged across the page. Your artwork should be supplied in the same orientation selected when placing your order.
Single-sided printing is suitable when all of the information fits comfortably on one face of the leaflet. Double-sided printing gives you additional space for prices, opening hours, terms, directions or supporting information without increasing the finished size.

Gloss can work well for colourful, image-led artwork, silk provides a smoother and more understated finish, while uncoated paper has a natural surface that can suit information sheets, service lists and designs that may need to be written on.

A6 leaflets have a finished size of 105 x 148mm. Artwork should be prepared at the correct dimensions and include bleed beyond the finished edge where colours, photographs or graphics are intended to print right to the edge.
We require 2mm bleed on every edge, giving an overall artwork size of 109 x 152mm. Any background elements that continue to the edge of the finished leaflet should extend fully into this additional area.
Important text, prices, logos and contact details should remain at least 3mm inside the finished edge. Keeping essential information within this safe area reduces the risk of it sitting too close to the trim.
Artwork should be supplied at the correct size, with photographs and other raster images ideally set at 300dpi at their final printed dimensions. This helps photographs, logos and fine details remain clear when reproduced at A6 size.
Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.
A6 has limited space compared with larger leaflet sizes, so check your artwork at approximately its finished printed size before uploading. Headings, prices and contact information should be easy to read without relying on very small text.
