4 Page A7 Folded Flyer Printing

4 page A7 folded flyers are a compact way to present information in a simple booklet-style format. They start as an A6 sheet measuring 105 x 148mm and are folded once through the centre to create a finished A7 size of 74 x 105mm.

The fold creates four small pages: a front cover, two inside pages and a back cover. This makes A7 useful when you need more structure than a flat card or flyer but want the finished piece to remain very compact.

Upload your own print-ready artwork and choose from gloss, silk and uncoated paper stocks.

What are 4 Page A7 Flyers Used For?

A7 folded flyers work best for short, focused content that can be divided into a few clear sections.

Typical uses include promotional inserts, discount offers, mini service guides, small event programmes, care instructions, thank-you inserts, vouchers and compact information leaflets.

Their small finished size makes them particularly useful for including inside parcels, product packaging, bags or envelopes. They can also be handed out easily where a larger folded leaflet would be unnecessary.

Why Choose a 4 Page A7 Flyer?

The main advantage of A7 is its compact finished size. It gives you four separate pages without creating a bulky piece of print.

This works especially well when the information is concise but benefits from a clear reading order. A strong front cover can introduce the message, the inside pages can provide the main details, and the back can hold contact information or a final call to action.

If you need more room for photographs, prices or multiple sections of text, a 4 Page A6 Folded Flyer may be a better choice.

How Does a 4 Page A7 Flyer Fold?

The flyer begins as a flat A6 sheet and is folded once through the centre. This is commonly known as a half fold or bi-fold.

Once folded, the finished piece measures A7 and opens like a miniature booklet. The outside spread contains the back cover and front cover, while the inside spread contains pages two and three.

Printed Sides and Four-Page Layout

A complete 4 page A7 flyer is printed on both sides of the flat A6 sheet.

One side forms the outside spread and the other forms the inside spread. This gives the design four distinct areas without increasing the finished footprint.

Because the pages are small, keeping each section concise will usually produce a clearer result than trying to fit large amounts of text onto every panel.

Paper Choices for 4 Page A7 Flyers

Choose from gloss, silk and uncoated stocks depending on the look and purpose of your design.

Gloss can suit colourful promotions and image-led artwork, silk provides a smoother and more understated appearance, while uncoated paper can work well for text-led inserts and simple informational designs.

4 Page A7 Flyer Artwork Guide

A 4 page A7 flyer is printed flat as an A6 sheet measuring 105 x 148mm and folded through the centre to create a finished A7 size of 74 x 105mm.

Artwork should be supplied as two landscape A6 spreads rather than as four separate A7 pages. One spread represents the outside of the flyer and the other represents the inside.

The fold runs vertically through the centre of each landscape spread. Use the artwork diagram alongside as a guide to the flat size, finished size, fold line, bleed and safe area.

Supplying Your 4 Page A7 Artwork

For a fully printed 4 page flyer, supply:

  • One landscape A6 outside spread containing the back cover and front cover
  • One landscape A6 inside spread containing pages two and three

Because the finished pages are small, page order and positioning are particularly important. Check both spreads carefully before uploading.

Bleed and Safe Area

We require 2mm bleed on every outer edge of the artwork. Background colours, photographs and graphics intended to continue to the trimmed edge should extend fully into this bleed area.

Important text, logos and other essential elements should remain at least 3mm inside the finished trim edge.

It is also advisable to keep important content clear of the centre fold so that small text or logos are not affected by the crease.

Preparing Print-Ready 4 Page A7 Artwork

Artwork should be created at the correct dimensions, with images ideally supplied at 300dpi at their final printed size.

Where possible, prepare artwork using CMYK colour rather than RGB. Screens display colour in RGB, while commercial printing typically reproduces colour using CMYK. Because the two colour systems work differently, some colours may appear slightly different in print compared with how they look on screen.

A7 pages provide limited space, so readability is especially important. Avoid reducing text excessively simply to make more information fit. Short sections, clear headings and sensible spacing will generally work better.

Before Uploading Your File, Check That:

  • The artwork is supplied as two landscape A6 spreads
  • The outside spread contains the back cover and front cover
  • The inside spread contains pages two and three
  • 2mm bleed has been included on the outer edges
  • Important content remains within the recommended 3mm safe area
  • Important text and logos are kept clear of the fold line
  • Text remains comfortable to read at the finished A7 size
  • Images are high enough resolution for print
  • Page order has been checked before upload

Need Help Checking Your Artwork?

Use the 4 page A7 artwork diagram as a visual reference for the flat size, finished size, fold line, bleed and safe area. Checking the spreads carefully before upload can help prevent incorrect page order, unwanted white edges or content sitting too close to the trim or fold.
